Self-regulation of heating cables represents their ability to change the output of power (heat) when exposed to changing environmental conditions (temperature). This diagram shows the relationship between cable temperature and pipe temperature (plumbing). When the system is turned on while the pipe is cold (blue), the heating cable heats up radiating more heat (red). When the tube heats up, the cable runs with less power and cools down.

The power output of the cable is adjusted automatically. Thanks to this, the cable can be laid in several layers, it does not have to have special thermal insulation, and its position can be changed. The system is available for 230V AC network.

The system is intended to protect pipes and valves exposed to possible damage caused by low temperatures. The system can be used when the following conditions are met:
- The outer diameter of the pipe does not exceed DN 50mm
- Pipe insulation thickness should be between min.10 mm and max 20 mm;
- The temperature of the protected pipe must not exceed + 65 ° C;
- min. ambient temperature - 25 ° C.

This system consists of cable heating with a built-in thermostat and works automatically, there is no need for the normally required heating cable control system. The system does not require regulation, and system installation is quick and easy.
